Hands On Columbus

Mission Statement:Hands on Columbus seeks to expand volunteerism by linking active people with flexible opportunities for service. Our method of volunteerism is based on the assumption that all people lead busy lives and community service should be flexible to fit our schedule and interests.

Volunteer Opportunties:Hands on Columbus will give you the opportunity to stand shoulder to shoulder with other volunteers from across Columbus, bringing change as you reach out in ways that only volunteers can. Hands on Columbus offers you a chance to be stretched and pushed past your comfort zone to places of service in areas of need that you may not have known existed. You will have the opportunity to do things you’ve never done before, touch lives that you otherwise may never have known, and in the process grow to see more fully your own potential. Hands on Columbus offers easy access to community service projects throughout the Columbus area. Projects are scheduled for weekends and evenings. They are posted in the monthly Hands on Columbus calendar and are mailed to your door. Simply choose the project(s) that fit your schedule and interests and call to sign up. You will be surprised at how easy it is to get involved and at how rewarding volunteering can be.
