Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Columbus

Mission Statement:To empower children to achieve their potential by becoming positive, productive, and healthy citizens through interaction with mature, responsible, and caring adults during the child’s formative years.

Volunteer Opportunties:Mentor children on a one-on-one basis. Traditional mentor – outside of school School based mentor – visit child in school for 1 hour.

Restrictions:All Volunteers Must Have a Background Check! Traditional mentor must be at least 18 years of age with driver’s license and insurance. School based mentor must be 16 years of age and reliable. An application needs to be filled out before volunteering. Ask us, we have them!
