Muscogee Humane Society

Mission Statement:It is the Mission of the Muscogee County Humane Society, a No-Kill Shelter, to prevent abuse and relieve suffering of all companion animals through compassionate care, placements (adoptions), public education and humane services. Through our efforts, thousands of companion animals have been rescued from abuse, neglect, or euthanasia, and loving homes have been provided through our adoption services. Our Pets For The Elderly Program has matched over 200 Seniors with a loving companion this year, at no charge to the adoptee; our low-cost spay/neuter program has been highly successful, and we are currently in the process of creating an ongoing Low Cost Veterinary Services Program in conjunction with local veterinarians.
