Volunteer Opportunties:

• Bellman - Greeting patients at the front door and assisting them with luggage and other items prior to checking in or out of the hospital. This position also helps at the front information desk when not busy.
• Cheer Cart- Roll a cart of goodies from floor to floor offering patients and employee’s snacks, magazines and other items from the gift shop. This position also helps at the gift shop.
• Floor Service - Assist nursing staff by responding to patient’s requests, taking paperwork to Pharmacy, Dietary and Lab, answering telephone and watering flowers for patients. This position is ideal for volunteers desiring to help patients.
• Gift Shop - Gain retail and customer service experience by helping staff the hospital gift shops. This position is idea for volunteers desiring public contact.
• Information Desk - Be one of the first people to greet our visitors and guide them where they need to go.
• Surgery Waiting Areas - Be a source of support and information by giving patient status information and serving as a liaison between the patient’s family in the waiting room and the medical staff.
